RA History

Over 25 years ago our founder, Francisco Alfaro, tossed a mower into his truck and started a journey few take. He created a business that would provide his family with everything they needed. Over the years, his smile became known all over the Wildomar, Murrieta and Temecula area. Francisco expanded to a team that would manage over 100 clients. From his perspective, his clients were like family. If there was a landscape-related problem, Francisco was there with a solution. Francisco became well-versed in landscape design, plant/ tree care, irrigation systems and lawn care.

In the summer of 2019, after serving in the Marine Corps and as a Deputy in the Northern Virginia area, Francisco’s Son-In-Law, Javier Romero, joined the team. With entry-level experience in the landscape field, Francisco would need to train Javier up to the expectation to one day lead his crew. Javier would serve as a laborer and maintenance crew leader as he trained to become a C-27 Landscape Contractor in 2023. Javier became well-versed in irrigation systems, landscape construction and design.

Throughout Francisco’s career, he would often take his son, Tyler Alfaro, to work while school was out. At the age of 10, Tyler was well-versed in handling professional-grade lawnmowers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and weed whackers. In 2023, after graduating from Elsinore Highschool, Tyler officially joined the team. Tyler continued his training and is now well-versed in tree rigging, landscape construction and irrigation systems.

In October of 2023, the RA Landscape family lost Francisco after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Even in his last days, Francisco expressed his loyalty to his clients. In honor of Francisco, RA Landscape takes pride in making sure our clients feel like family. After all, we strive to build relationships just as good as we build our landscapes.
